How they met
eHarmony! For two people who thought they would never do the 'internet dating thing', that's exactly how they met. They met in June 2010 on eHarmony. John came across Sherry's profile and it had to be the bikini pic that motivated him to make his first contact with Sherry through the online tool. Sherry responded to his initial selection of canned questions with her selection of the best multiple choice answers. Real romantic right? Well, for them it was very exciting to think they had each met 'the one' complete with butterflies in the stomach, waiting for the next email notification, and later waiting for the next phone call. Their first live meeting was a lunch date at Rubios. Needless to say, it went well. They had lunch again the following day and dinner that evening. The rest is history in the making!
Two and a little lady
Sherry's 5 year-old daughter, Alaythia, completes their circle. Sherry couldn't have wished for a better relationship between Alaythia and John. This little girl absolutely loves her 'daddy John' and he loves her as if she were his very own. God has truly blessed this union.
A house divided
Not only are John and Sherry both Tigers who according to the Chinese Zodiac should avoid each other like the plague when it comes to relationships, but they graduated from rival schools - John from Cal and Sherry from Stanford. Life is never boring on Match Court! Alaythia says she'll go to whichever school who's logo she gets on a pink or purple shirt first.
